The Ex-Students' Scholarship Association is a non-profit organization.  It was started during the 1992-93 school year when Carol Griffis was counselor at Hughes Springs High School.

  During the 2007-2008 school year, the Ex-Student's Scholarship Association awarded $6,500 in scholarships, the largest amount they have ever awarded.  They accept honorary and memorial donations and will include one honored or memorialized in the name of the scholarship if the donation is as much as $300. Otherwise the name is mentioned with other names. A card is sent to families of those honored or memorialized. 

The Ex-Student's Scholarship Association would love to hear from anyone and would especially appreciate hearing from those whose are not already members.
