Individuals who wish to address the board during the public comments portion of the board meeting are required to sign up, in person, on the night of the board meeting before the board meeting starts at 6:00 pm.  Doors open at 5:30 pm before board meetings.  Individuals who do not sign up before the board meeting begins at 6:00 pm, will not be allowed to speak.

Those who wish to speak at a board meeting often expect a dialogue with the Board of Trustees, however, in accordance with Texas Law, the Board is not able to respond directly to comments or questions posed by speakers. Texas law also does not allow the Board to discuss or take action on any issue presented during the public forum unless the item has already been posted for action on the meeting agenda.
